Product Description

Wafer LED Indoor-Outdoor 4-in Housing-Free Recessed Downlight – Matte Black Finish

The 4-inch Wafer LED is an ultra-thin recessed downlight ideal for shallow ceiling plenum applications. With 10.2 Watts and 620 Lumens the Wafer 4" LED Downlights are an affordable and high-quality light output while eliminating the need for recessed housings. The innovative, slim design allows for easy retrofit, remodel or new construction installation from below the ceiling. Quality, housing-free recessed downlighting is achieved with its narrow remote driver box.

INTENDED USE — The Wafer LED is quick and simple to install from below the ceiling with as little as 3-inch plenum clearance. The Wafer LED can be installed in confined, hard to reach spaces such as closets, bathrooms, hallways, stairwells and outside soffits. These and other areas with shallow plenum often make it impossible to install traditional recessed housings.

INSTALLATION — Ideal for shallow ceiling plenum; no housing required. Steel spring clip for easy installation. 4" cut out template is provided to ensure a correct sized hole is cut into ceiling for proper installation of the trim. Size of hole should not exceed 4 1/4 inches for this product. Suitable for installation in t-grid and drop ceiling applications. 3" plenum space required for installation of the remote driver box.

CONSTRUCTION — IC rated driver and fixture - approved for direct contact with insulation. Aluminum die cast outer frame. Durable, powder coat paint to prevent rust. Plenum rated cable connector to connect from module to remote driver box.
